Happy anniversary, Beyoncé and Jay-Z!
Beyoncé and Jay-Z got married on the 4th of April, 12 years ago, and their family is celebrating the couple’s marriage this weekend.
Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, posted a black and white photo taken at the couple’s intimate wedding ceremony at the rapper and producer’s penthouse home in New York City in 2008 where Bey was wearing a white strapless mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline designed by her mum. The elated bride and groom can be seen celebrating having just tied the knot.
Tina Knowles wrote, “Happy anniversary to Bey and Jay❤️❤️❤️it seemed like yesterday these guys walked down the Aisle . Those are my arms in the fluffing her dress!!! Such beautiful memories of that day now it’s twelve years later ! Three gorgeous babies later and love still prevails ❤️🙏🏾❤️❤️ ahem i designed that dress😂👏🏾👏🏾 pastor @rudyrasmus.”
As pointed out by E! News, Knowles also shared the very same wedding photo on Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s ninth wedding anniversary. The Carters also renewed their vows in 2018, with the superstar wearing a gorgeous Galia Lahav gown for the private affair.
The couple have 3 kids ; 8-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, and 2-year-old twins Sir Carter and Rumi Carter.
