The Borderless Trade Network is pleased to announce its first virtual edition of the Borderless Trade Salon Series: Women in Business Breakfast Meeting.

The 2-day virtual event set for the 8th and 9th February 2021 by 10:00 am has been designed specifically for Women in Business to give them leverage to progress in the international business world.

With a teeming increase rate in the export and trade industry in Nigeria and the establishment of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), it has become imperative to build a platform to empower and sensitize women in business on ways to scale their businesses to international standards, particularly in this industry, in order to compete adequately with their international counterparts.

Speaking about the potential success of the event, Olori Boye-Ajayi, Author of The Borderless Trade, President of The Export Community Agency and Vice President of The Ark Coaching said, “I am so delighted to announce our partnership with the U.S. Consulate @usinnigeria and Ascend Studios Foundation @ascendstudios_foundation for the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program on this Borderless Trade Salon Series #BTSS.”

OBA Inc. partnering with The Academy of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), being a White-House initiative with the goal of having empowered 50 million women economically and financially by 2025 has set out to familiarize Women in Business about the operational protocols of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

This workshop will feature a team of excellent industry experts and thought leaders who will be ensuring the following:

  • Sensitization of the operating protocols of the AfCFTA agreement;

● The basic implementation process of the AfCFTA to their business;

● A deeper understanding of the cognitive and intellectual requirements for the modern

business woman;

● Networking with industry contemporaries and forming strong small focus support groups

to gain united fronts for the coming tides.

As an attendee, there will be access to further opportunities to upscale businesses, connect with the right network to achieve business growth, focus groups, and many more.
