I am a 28-year-old baker, media personality, fashion model, digital creator, and business mogul passionate about philanthropy, hailing from Akwa Ibom State. I also serve as an ambassador and influencer for reputable brands. As a beauty and lifestyle enthusiast interested in authentic and luxury products, I actively collaborate with brands to promote their products and services through engaging social media content.
Yvonne Godswill: Her Journey from Akwa Ibom to Prominent Model and Content Creator in Lagos
I honestly never considered modeling or content creation while living in Akwa Ibom State (Uyo). My passion for modeling began after I completed university. While I worked at a television station (TVC), a colleague connected me to some makeup artists and fashion designers who needed models. Through hard work and determination, I moved full-time to Lagos, immersing myself in the vibrant creative scene. By networking, collaborating, and honing my skills, I gradually built my brand. Each step has been a valuable learning experience, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.
As a fashion and lifestyle influencer, how do you define your style?
I prefer a minimalist and comfortable style, valuing fashion that is both practical and visually appealing. Clean lines, neutral colors, and versatile pieces that mix and match effortlessly define my approach to dressing. My approach to fashion is about expressing individuality while prioritizing comfort and simplicity.
What initially inspired you to pursue modeling, and how did that evolve into content creation and influencing?
I was inspired to pursue modeling and content creation because of my passion for creative self-expression. The idea of using my social media platforms to post styling videos while connecting with my audience excites me. I love how fashion and media can tell compelling stories and influence people, and I wanted to be part of that narrative.
How has life changed for you after Big Brother Titans (BBT), both personally and professionally?
Life has changed significantly for me after the show. I have gained a deeper understanding of myself and built genuine connections and friendships with people I met on the show.
Professionally, the exposure has opened up numerous opportunities in modeling, influencing, content creation, and my baking business. These have allowed me to collaborate with brands and expand my influence in the entertainment space across Africa.
Yvonne Godswill Tell us more about Cravecakes.NG. Her inspiration to start a cake business, and what sets it apart?
Cravecakes.NG is a cake business I launched on March 11th, 2024, born out of my love for baking and creating delicious treats. My inspiration for baking came mainly from my mum and also my desire to bring joy to people’s celebrations with beautifully crafted cakes that don’t only look good but taste amazing.
What sets Cravecakes.NG apart is our commitment to high-quality ingredients, unique flavour combinations, and personalized designs tailored to each customer’s specific needs. This dedication to quality and creativity helps us create memorable experiences for every occasion.
You are launching a diffuser, scented candle, and room spray line. What inspired this idea?
This product launch is long overdue but because I am a perfectionist, I am still figuring out the best and highest standard of fragrances I will be using for the production of these scented candles, diffusers, and room spray. I am inspired to launch Affluence Paradise because I believe in the power of scents to create a mood and enhance the atmosphere in our spaces, with my experience in the fragrance industry, I wanted to bring the same passion into home decor.
Each product is designed to elevate everyday moments, making them more enjoyable and memorable. Plus I love the idea of helping memorable. Plus I love the idea of helping people create a cozy and inviting environment in their homes.
How do you balance your time between business ventures, brand influence, and content creation?
Balancing business, content creation, and influencing requires careful planning and prioritization. I set clear goals for each area and create schedules that allow me to dedicate time to all my projects.
I also integrate activities by using content to promote my business ventures and collaborating with brands aligned with my work. Staying organized and flexible helps me maintain a healthy balance while pursuing my passions.
Are there other projects or collaborations we should look forward to?
I will be launching my foundation, the Yvonne Godswill Foundation, on March 11th, 2025. This initiative is dedicated to supporting widows across Nigeria.
Additionally, I plan to officially launch Affluence Paradise, my line of diffusers, scented candles, and room sprays. I have collaborated with brands like Coca-Cola, Xiaomi Nigeria, and Schweppes for campaign shoots, and I’m currently working on collaborations with perfume and cosmetic houses.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?
It would be Bali because of its stunning beaches and vibrant culture. Bali is famous for its lush rice terraces, traditional Balinese temples, and vibrant art scene. It is also a popular destination for wellness retreats, surfing, and exploring unique cuisine.
