It’s been a week since our stars Burna Boy won the Best Global Music Album category while Wizkid won the Best Music Video for his song with Beyoncé; Brown Skin Girl, from Lion King: The Gift album.
We can now brag that our industry is Grammy-winning. However, Our African Giant, Burna, had an interview with BBC Africa where he revealed how much he deserved the award. He also stated that if it was in a country that works, he would have won the country as far back as 2013.
The most exciting thing is that he stayed in the motherland to receive the award. Fela must be smiling wherever he is at.
