The Kids Village was a hub of non-stop fun with activities ranging from bouncy castles to face painting, ensuring that every child could participate and enjoy the festivities to the fullest. Wellness expert Jade Phillips led a masterclass on relaxation techniques, while Chef Chi demonstrated the art of cooking. Renowned fashion designer Ugo Monye shared his personal insights, and the night ended
with electrifying performances by EDM DJs and DJ Obi.
Day two saw a continuation of the excitement, with attendees enjoying more shopping, delicious food, and engaging activities at the Kids Village. Kitchen Muse’s Bukie Akinmade hosted a cooking masterclass, while beauty expert Banke Meshida showcased beauty tools and techniques. The runway came alive with collections from Trax Apparel, Henri Uduku, and Mak Afrika. The day concluded with a Fireside chat on digital commerce and a high-energy performance by DJ Dope Caesar and Teni.
On the final day, the event reached its peak with a fresh lineup of vendors, delectable food options, and engaging activities for children. Fashion masterclass by Kolapo Olabintan, cooking demonstrations by Chef Yeide Kuti and Dr. Chef Chi, and hair styling tips by Kotty Signature kept attendees entertained and informed. The runway featured stunning collections from Titi Belo, Jon Pelumi, Cladini, and Ohlanna, the runway was graced by the presence of ProvidusBank staff, showing their support for the talented fashion designers and adding an extra touch of elegance to the event.
The day ended with a Fireside chat on leadership and management with esteemed guests Toju Foyeh, Tosin Ogundadegbe, Dimma Umeh, Steve Harris, and Abiodun Ariyo, Head – Export Business from ProvidusBank. Followed by a captivating performance by DJ Consequence and Tiwa Savage.
The Hive by ProvidusBank event was a resounding success, bringing together industry experts, creatives, and enthusiasts in a vibrant and dynamic environment.

]]>The Business of Photography Conference 2024 (BOP2024), a Conference designed for advocating the creative industry in Nigeria with a focus on the photography and videography industry and enhancing its recognition as a formidable business sector in Nigeria and Africa, concluded with resounding success on March 20th, 2024, at The Muson Center, Onikan, Lagos, Nigeria.
The conference, being the fifth edition, attracted industry leaders, policymakers, creatives, and aspiring photographers and videographers, showcased insightful discussions, thought-provoking panels, and networking opportunities, cementing its reputation as a premier event in the creative industry calendar.

As guests arrived, they were greeted by the glitz and glamour of the red carpet, mingling with stars and fellow film enthusiasts. Refreshments flowed freely, setting the stage for an evening of entertainment and emotion.
Directed by Abdias Laguerre, the film explores the rich cultural tapestry of Haiti and Nigeria creating a visually appealing and emotional journey for the audience. The cast including Stella Damasus, Tonye Garrick, Flav Gabel, Ugonna Madueke and a host of others, delivered powerful performances that left a lasting impression on the audience.
With film enthusiasts from all over Lagos and Haiti spilling into the hall to see This Unexpected Love smiles could be seen on the faces of the cast and crew. The intimate screening started with a warm and humorus welcome from the host, the phenomenal Chigul. During the screening the audience were fully immersed from the start to the end of the film, soaking in each moment. After the screening there was a standing ovation from the crowd.
Throughout the evening, the atmosphere at the screening was an electric and memorable one which was graced with notable actors from the movie industry including Abimbola Craig, Alex Ekubo, Jimmie Akinsola amongst others. The event was also well attended by top media such as TVC, Silverbird television, GoldMyne Tv, Africa Movie channel, and a host of others. It was a night to remember, filled with love, laughter and unexpected connections.

The screening ended with a question and answer segment, where the media and audience delved into the heart of the film addressing the triumphs of shooting across cultural landscapes, and the collaborative effort that brought the story to life.
As the night drew to a close, it was clear that ‘This Unexpected Love’ had left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of experiencing it. Love, laughter, and a sense of community filled the air, reminding us all of the power of cinema to unite and inspire.
