Layering clothes is what we do all the time. The reasons for it vary: possibly the weather, it also could be for style reasons. It may seem easy but when working with clothing that has ruffles, patterns, and pleats, you know it is not. This read would give you an insight into the dos and don’ts of layering clothes so you can always slay this style.
1) The Simpler the Better
Layering with plain clothes is the best. As much as possible, avoid using more than one ruffled clothing piece. Do not wear too many layers else you may end up looking bulky and feeling uncomfortable.
2) Do not be afraid to use Colors and Patterns
This may seem like it contradicts the first statement but it doesn’t. Nevertheless, you have to be smart about your choices. Pairing a patterned piece with a plain bold color is a great way to layering your clothing piece.

3) Take Your Time To Plan the Layering Style
When working with bold pieces most likely for shoots, or red carpet events. You have to take your time and plan. Do fittings to see how it looks on the model or your client. Sometimes the idea in your head may not necessarily come out nice. So you have to see your vision, in reality, to know that it works.
