Beyonce’s highly anticipated visual album, ‘Black Is King’, arrived in early hours of Friday morning (July 31), premiering on Disney+ about a year after the 2019 release of the Lion King remake, which Beyonce voiced Nala in.
Black Is King features a cameo from some notable and familiar faces such as Yemi Alade, Shatta Wale, WizKid, Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland, Pharrell Williams, Adut Akech, Aweng Ade-Chuol, and JAY-Z, and moves across the world — from New York to Los Angeles, South Africa, different parts of West Africa, to London and Belgium
On Instagram, Beyoncé shared that the film is meant to “celebrate the breadth and beauty of Black ancestry.”
As usual, Queen Bey delivered and outdid herself fashion wise. Styled by her long time stylist, Zerina Akers, all the looks in this visual are to die for.
