This year’s edition of Green Access challenges emerging African designers to reimagine pre- and post-consumer textile waste into innovative collections that merge sustainability with Africa’s centuries-old heritage of craftsmanship.

Since its launch, Green Access by Lagos Fashion Week has nurtured a new generation of designers committed to circular fashion. Moreover, alumni such as Kadiju, Pepperrow, Cute Saint, Ywande, and Desiree Iyama have built groundbreaking brands. In addition, Ajanée, Pettre Taylor, and Oshobor continue to redefine responsible production across Africa.

“Green Access is more than a program—it is a movement that empowers young designers to imagine new possibilities for African fashion while honoring the traditions that shape our identity,” said Omoyemi Akerele, Founder & Convener of Lagos Fashion Week. “As we celebrate 15 years of Lagos Fashion Week, we remain committed to fostering innovation that is bold, creative, and regenerative.”
