Nigerian-British designer, Mowalola Ogunlesi has been appointed as the Design Director of Kanye West’s Yeezy Gap initiative.
On 26th of June, Mowalola shared the exciting news on Instagram regarding her new role. “Design Director of Yeezy Gap,” She wrote alongside a photo of the logo for Yeezy Gap.
The 25 year old British-Nigerian designer is known for her futuristic, sexy and out-of-the-box tailoring approach to fashion.
Mowalola has since gone on to style icons like Solange Knowles, and most famously responsible for Naomi Campbell’s white halterneck gown, which featured a symbolic gunshot wound, that she wore this past London Fashion Week.
