Lagos Leather Fair (LLF2025) Sets New Standards for African Leather Innovation and Creativity
Lagos Leather Fair (LLF2025) successfully concluded its 8th edition at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event marked a major milestone for Africa’s fast-growing leather industry. This year’s theme, “Designing for Tomorrow,” set the tone for a dynamic showcase of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
As West Africa’s largest leather exhibition, LLF2025 brought together leather designers, artisans, investors, and key stakeholders from across the continent.
A Weekend of Style, Strategy, and Synergy
The weekend began with a Private Preview on June 27, offering a relaxed setting for exhibitors and special guests to network and prepare. The main event opened with remarks from Toke Benson-Awoyinka, Lagos State’s Commissioner for Arts and Tourism. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the creative economy.
Notable dignitaries included Fegho John Umunubo from the Office of the Vice President, Ibukun Awosika of The Chair Centre Group, and Bola Adesola of Standard Chartered Bank. Their presence reflected the growing support for Nigeria’s creative and industrial sectors.
Representing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Hon. Akinyemi Ajigbotafe emphasized Lagos State’s ongoing efforts to support local industries through innovation and job creation.
