Regen Edition of the Creative Class, powered by The Assembly, is set to culminate in an inspiring finale showcase after 12 weeks of intensive learning, mentorship, and collaboration. This landmark event will bring together industry leaders, investors, creative entrepreneurs, and ecosystem partners. They would be a witness to the next generation of regenerative businesses in the creative space.
Now in its fifth cohort, the Creative Class: Regen Edition has supported entrepreneurs committed to building sustainable and ethical brands. Which would also reimagine the creative economy through regenerative practices. Participants have engaged in over 40 hours of coworking sessions, collaborated in 30+ expert-led learning labs, and worked closely with industry mentors.
Empowering Africa’s Creative Industry with Regenerative Innovation in the Regen Edition Class
According to a Jobberman and Mastercard Foundation report, Nigeria’s creative industry is the country’s second-largest employer. Employing approximately 4.2 million people and is projected to create 2.7 million additional jobs by the end of 2025. Recognizing this potential, The Assembly developed the Creative Class: Regen Edition. To equip emerging entrepreneurs with the skills, networks, and funding to drive sustainability in the sector.
A major highlight of the event will be the live exhibition, where participants will showcase their groundbreaking projects, products, and creative ventures. Industry leaders and investors will get an exclusive look at how these entrepreneurs integrate regenerative principles into their businesses.
Additionally, select participants will pitch their enterprises live, presenting their work to potential investors, partners, and media representatives. The evening will feature a cocktail reception, creating a relaxed networking space for guests to connect, exchange ideas, and build meaningful collaborations.
Funding Innovation and Recognizing Impact In Regen Edition
The event will also serve as a platform to recognize and reward innovation. Entrepreneurs demonstrating strong commitments to regenerative business models will compete for a share of the collective grant fund, supported by Sara by Wema Bank and the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy.
