1) Charades!

This game is an absolute fave! It helps test the kid’s memory and also makes them learn more. There’s a lot of apps with charades for kids. You can supervise the kids while doing this, or you can take a break, and watch them do it themselves. Truthfully you can take a rest during this period too if you’ve had a tiring day. 

2) Treasure Hunt:

This would be a busy one and it would keep their spirits up as we know kids love to run around. For safety purposes, it would make sense to restrict the hunt to certain areas of the house or a certain room. It won’t make sense if your kid goes to the kitchen and turns the cooker over looking for a treasure. You know how adventurous kids are, it’s not impossible.

3) Musical Chairs:

Another major fave. Not only would the kids have fun, but it pushes their spirit of competition. The side to it is that if your kids are bitter losers and they lose, you’ll have the bitterness to deal with. But a little chocolate and consolation kiss should hopefully make the bitterness go away.

4) Study Games:

Things like identifying numbers, shapes, colors, animals, etc. However, keep it fun while studying. This is a great game for younger kids especially from 2 and above.

5) Hide and Seek:

Kids love this game! But restrict it to a room or certain areas of the house. The goal is safety always.

6) Board Games:

If your kids are older; playing, chess, scrabble, amongst other healthy board games is a terrific idea. They would learn more, and this helps them improve their minds and how they strategize.

7) Dress Up:

Your kids could play dress up for fun! Allow them to create a fashion show, theater show or musical concert, this is a fun and exciting way to relax and also opens you all to a world of talent you knew or didn’t know existed.

Don’t forget to teach your kids the importance of sanitizing, staying indoors, keeping neat, and generally staying safe this period. They need to be alive to play these games.

The market capitalization of equities depreciated and investors in the Nigerian stock market have already lost a large sum of N329bn.

The price of oil benchmark has suffered a drastic fall from $57 to $31 leaving the government no choice but to slash the 2020 budget by N1.5trillion of its ambitious N10.6trillion projection as 90% of its foreign exchange earnings and 60% of the country’s earnings are from crude oil and gas.

The economic agents who depend on transporters (air, land, and sea) for generating the interconnectedness required to create economic activities will inevitably result in deficient level of operations expected to correlate positively with crude oil demand.

The impact of the coronavirus across over 100 countries, Nigeria inclusive has affected global supply chains, as well as demand for goods and services. The pandemic has also shut the doors to the importation of raw materials as many Nigerian manufacturers depend entirely on a single supply source for their inputs, whereby the Chinese raw material producers are the supply source.

What does the future hold for our economy in this time of coronavirus?

The coronavirus (Covid 19) has spread to so many countries and is still spreading to every part of the world and even the Fashion world has felt its impact!

There is panic as a Vietnamese heiress Nga Nguyen was diagnosed after attending fashion week shows in Milan and Paris. The 27 year old daughter of a steel magnate, attended the Gucci fashion show in Milan on Feb 19 and on the 25th of February she attended the Saint Laurent show in Paris.

She and her 26 year old sister Nhung Nguyen were diagnosed on the 6th of march, due to this news, top fashion editors who attended the fashion shows in Milan and Paris are currently on self imposed quarantine which has forced a lot of fashion executives from InStyle, Bazaar, Elle etc to work from home at the moment.

As a chic precaution, Naomi Campbell was spotted rocking an overall jumpsuit, gloves and face mask as she was traveling. 

She released the pictures on her instagram account on the 10th of march  and captioned it safety first.

This picture has gone viral to educate the public especially those in the fashion business that the Corona Virus is real and is everywhere indeed.
