Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer, Tiwatope Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage. Has issued an official statement on the recent robbery incident at her home.
According to several media outlets on the 13th of April 2023. Her new driver was alleged to have provided information to his co-conspirators, who attempted a kidnap her.
But according to the press release made on her social media page, some of the said kidnappers were arrested and under police custody now.
The press release read,
“Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April 2023 there was a major security breach at the residence of musician Tiwa Savage.
A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi. Ms. Savage and her family are safe and well.”
