Style House Files Presents a Four-Day Immersive Experience Celebrating Africa’s Circular Fashion Future
Woven Threads VII, themed CRAFTED, returns as a leading platform advancing circular fashion, sustainability, and responsible production across Africa’s fashion and textile value chains.
Organised by Style House Files, Woven Threads VII will take place from 9th to 12th April 2026 at 274A Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. The four-day immersive event will convene designers, innovators, and key industry stakeholders shaping the future of sustainable fashion in Africa.

Woven Threads is one of two flagship platforms by Style House Files, alongside Lagos Fashion Week. Driving innovation, sustainability, and economic growth across the continent’s fashion industry.
Building on the success of its 2025 cross-continental engagements in London and Lagos, CRAFTED explores Africa’s deep-rooted craftsmanship. As well as spotlighting circular design, material innovation, and systems-led thinking, redefining modern fashion.
At its core, CRAFTED highlights that sustainability in Africa is not new, but a long-standing practice. This is embedded in craft traditions, material intelligence, community-based production, and adaptive reuse. The platform positions Africa as a global hub for sustainable fashion solutions, where heritage and innovation intersect to address pressing environmental challenges.
Woven Threads VII will also feature programming developed in partnership with The Earthshot Prize, bringing together leading voices across the continent to accelerate systems-level change and advance a circular fashion ecosystem.
“Woven Threads has always believed that Africa’s most powerful sustainability ideas are already here, living in our craft traditions, our material knowledge, our communities. CRAFTED is an invitation to see that clearly, and to build from it. This year, we are not just celebrating heritage; we are demonstrating that it is the blueprint for the future of fashion.”
— Omoyemi Akerele, Founder, Lagos Fashion Week & Style House Files
