The Make Music Lagos organisers have also announced that they will be launching the \u201cCOVID Took My Job\u201d initiative to provide support to select industry professionals whose livelihoods have been adversely affected as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This fifth consecutive edition of Make Music Lagos kicks off on Monday 15th June with a two-day LEARN TO PLAY event in partnership with Rainbow Fingers, The Saxophone School, Chrysolite and host of other music schools\/teachers. The event, which will take place simultaneously across multiple free-to-access digital platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Zoom Skype etc., is designed to provide music instrument lessons to as many music fans as possible at no cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

21st of June, Make Music Lagos is going to be hosting a variety of FREE ONLINE MUSIC EVENTS to get the music fans super excited. There is the HOME STUDIO, a new addition to the lineup, which will have leading music producers (like Music Magnate, Olaitan Dada, Mr. Wols, Crackermallo, etc.) make beats from their home studio in real time. In the past, these beats would have been made on the streets of Lagos as part of the STREET STUDIO events. There are also the MAKE MUSIC LAGOS CONCERTS, hosted in collaboration with partners, which will give many upcoming acts the opportunity to perform to large audiences on YouTube and Instagram.
