May Shua- The Multitalented Nigerian Music Star

Maryam Shuaibu, well known as May Shua, is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter. She hails from Edo state, and over the years,  has proven to be passionate about music. The titled herself as Naija’s Best Rapping Shawteey (NBRS). NBRS is one of the major catchphrases in her songs.

She has graced the stage with stars like Oritse Femi, DeeTunes, Koker, Fliptyce, Indomix, Samklef, and Sagzy.

May Shua wears so many hats of talent beautifully. Asked in an interview about how she manages her many talents.” I am glad I could do all these things without one clashing with another. I am a rapper, singer, songwriter, and performer amidst other talents. Also, I have worked with a plethora of heavyweights in the music industry from Oritsefemi, DeeTunes, Koker, Fliptyce, Indomix, Samklef, and Sagzy. I have quite a number of songs and catchy music videos and I believe May Shua’s fans the ‘aMAYzing MAYniacs’, are indeed in for an aMAYzing treat.” She said.

Remarkably, In 2019 she hosted her debut concert in her hometown in Auchi, Edo state. 

This event featured musicians and also comedians like Klint the Drunk, and Mc Abbey. 

In her previous interviews, it is obvious that May Shua counts as one of the few celebrities that are focused on their craft, with clear boundaries as a lady amongst men.
