Willis Ikedum is a multiple award-winning screenwriter, producer and director whose journey started at the New York Film Academy where he studied filmmaking.
African Academy Award-Winning Filmmaker and Studio Executive, and the founder and president of Wheels Pictures. Ikedum’s films have screened at globally renowned film festivals including Toronto (TIFF), London and Hollywood Black Film Festival (HBFF). One of Ikedum’s films, 76 won two Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) and five Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) in 2017.
His filmography consists of projects such as 76, Switch, Baby Steps, Mummy Dearest, (which starred Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu) and Daddy’s Love.
Ikedum is a member of ARRAY; the Actors Guild of Nigeria; and the Association of Movie Producers, Nigeria where he is the pioneer member of the Rivers State chapter. He is passionate about showing the family and society, and telling Nigerian stories on a global scale.
