Dior’s creative director, Maria, was greatly influenced by Chimamanda and created a tee-shirt collection with Chimamanda’s ted talk title, “We should all be feminist.”
2) Bonang Matheba:
Bonang has taken the elegance of Africa to a whole new level. Media personality, philanthropist, producer, wine owner, the all-around businesswoman, you name it. Her style and influence on the world are one to love.
3) Denola Grey:
A fave of many hearts. Grey’s style is to die for. Not only is he defining fashion, but he is redefining what masculinity means. He is changing the narrative of fragile masculinity in a very positive way.
4) Toke Makinwa:
Media personality and author. Toke is a social media sensation and has many hearts trapped with her killer lifestyle.
5) Adebayo Oke-Lawal:
If any designer is breaking the traditional stereotypes of what should or shouldn’t be worn by each gender, it is Lawal. Through his design brand: Orange Culture, he has reinforced that Nigerians again are so much more. He has broken boundaries and is edging fashion thorough his unisex designs.
