CRAFTED is the creative direction for Lagos Fashion Week 2026, which will take place from October 28 to November 1, 2026, in Lagos, Nigeria, under the theme “CRAFTED: Heritage. Innovation. Circular Futures.”
The 2026 season will open with the Welcome Party on October 28, followed by three days of runway shows from October 29 to 31 at the LagosFW Tents, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. The season will conclude with offsite shows on November 1.
CRAFTED Explores the Future of African Fashion
CRAFTED explores the knowledge, skill, and creative processes that shape African fashion, bringing together heritage making. As well as contemporary design, innovation, and new approaches to the future of the industry.
The campaign introduces this vision through a contemporary interpretation of the African studio portrait, drawing from a long-standing tradition of documenting people, identity, style, and moments of cultural significance.
Daniel Obasi Captures the CRAFTED Campaign
Photographed by Daniel Obasi, the campaign brings together a cast of models in a series of considered portraits that place fashion, styling, texture, and composition at the centre. Together, the images form a collective portrait of the 2026 season, reflecting the energy, individuality, and visual language of contemporary African fashion.
The campaign’s visual language extends the CRAFTED concept beyond clothing to explore how fashion is made, presented and experienced. It considers the relationship between heritage and innovation, the value of craft and material knowledge, and the possibilities for creating a more circular fashion future.
