Obsidian Advisory Africa will bring together more than 500 fashion talents and 100+ fashion businesses in Lagos on 22 and 23 October 2026 for the fifth edition of its Fashion Career Fair.
The two-day event will connect fashion professionals, employers and industry stakeholders while creating clearer pathways from fashion skills development to employment, recruitment and business opportunities.
Virtual Talent Summit Opens the 2026 Fashion Career Fair
The programme begins on 22 October with a Virtual Talent Summit, giving fashion talents across Nigeria access to conversations about careers, skills development and opportunities within the fashion industry.
Industry professionals will share insights into career growth and the skills employers need across different areas of Nigeria’s fashion value chain.
On 23 October, the programme moves to J. Randle, Lagos, for the Fashion Employer Town Hall and Fashion Career Fair.
The Employer Town Hall will bring together fashion businesses and industry stakeholders to discuss workforce needs, skills gaps and recruitment challenges. The Career Fair will then allow talents and businesses to connect, network and explore on-the-spot hiring opportunities.

Sprint Recruitment Program to Train 500 Fashion Talents
The Sprint Recruitment Program (SRP) sits at the centre of this year’s Fashion Career Fair.
Through the programme, Obsidian Advisory Africa will train 500 fashion talents for in-demand roles across the fashion value chain before the Career Fair.
The programme will also match SRP participants with participating businesses based on their skills, experience and role fit. This approach will give employers access to a more structured pool of trained and employer-ready fashion talent.
For fashion professionals, the SRP provides targeted training that focuses on the skills businesses currently need.
Obsidian Advisory Africa Focuses on Fashion Employment
“We’re not just creating a space for talent and employers to meet. We’re building the infrastructure that gets people hired,” said Damilola Ademilokun, Founder and CEO of Obsidian Advisory Africa.
“The SRP allows us to prepare talent for roles businesses actually need and bring employers into the Fair with a clearer view of the talent available to them.”
The initiative aims to strengthen the connection between fashion training and employment while helping businesses find skilled professionals who match their workforce requirements.
