Funke Akindele, Nigeria’s highest-grossing filmmaker, has announced her highly anticipated new feature film, The Four: No One Fights Alone, which will arrive in cinemas globally on December 11, 2026.
Funke Akindele Network (FAAN TV) produced the powerful new drama, while FilmOne Entertainment will handle its theatrical distribution. The film features an impressive Nollywood ensemble, including Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Waje, and several leading Nigerian stars.

The Four: No One Fights Alone tells an emotionally charged story about friendship, motherhood, resilience, sacrifice, and the strength of women.
The story moves between the picturesque Odu community and the vibrant energy of the city. It follows Esosa and three fiercely loyal women as they fight for the future of a young man they deeply love.
Their mission puts their courage, faith, and loyalty to the ultimate test. Along the way, the women confront difficult choices while holding on to hope, sacrifice, and the enduring power of unity.
The film also celebrates Nigeria’s rich cultural identity through its music, fashion, language, traditions, and striking cinematography. Additionally, Funke combines these elements with authentic storytelling to create a story that connects with audiences in Nigeria and beyond.
Funke Akindele Leads an All-Star Nollywood Cast
Funke Akindele has assembled an accomplished ensemble of Nollywood stars for The Four.
The cast includes Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, Uzor Arukwe, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Antar Laniyan, and Wunmi Toriola, alongside Funke Akindele herself.
The film also features award-winning singer Waje and Afrobeats star Shoday. Entertainment personalities Samuel Banks, Kolapo Omotosho, and Ayomide Iwasokun also join the cast.
